Dear Curtiss Mansion's Friends,
As the new Executive Director of the Curtiss Mansion, I cannot begin to thank Melinda Jester and Jo Ellen Morgan Phillips enough for the legacy they have left behind. A group of colleagues that love and appreciate them, a mansion that through its progress and beauty shows the love they have each invested into this amazing site and dedication to keeping the legacy of Glenn H. Curtiss alive.
On behalf of the Curtiss Mansion Team I would like to thank you both for the time you spent here. I look forward to the amazing things to come during my tenure and look forward to the continued growth that will come from the legacy left behind from my predecessors.

Did you know that many Curtiss planes have been depicted
in the movies over the years?
If you happen to watch the movie King Kong from 1933 & the
remake version in 2005, look out for the Curtiss Helldiver
also known as the Curtiss Falcon in the famous
Empire State scene.
In 1933, the movie used real Curtiss planes, of course, in
2005 they were computer generated. Nevertheless, work
was done accurately and aircrafts wears the colors
which were used from 1930 to 1932.
