Decorating the Curtiss Mansion Tree!
Thanks to Marilyn Newton, Buzz and Kathy Fleischman,
Nikki Jester, Joan Cavalier, Spiro Armenis, Roy Ortiz, Debbie Villiasmil, David Black and our amazing sales team; Sherry Feijoo, Javi Diaz & Nyree Feijoo. Special thanks to Roy Rodriguez of TGSV Enterprises, Inc. for donating the tree this year!
Another Amazing Year at the
Holiday Tree Festival & Teddy Bear Tea!
Thank you to everyone who made this magical event possible. It would not have happened without the tireless support of Volunteers, Sponsors & Judges! As well as everyone who donated a tree, they all looked incredible. There were readings from Mrs. Claus, a visit from Glenn Curtiss, snow in the courtyard, and much more. Teddy Bears and portions of the proceeds will be donated to local charities.
Thank you to Larry Williams and his students
for our new Curtiss Pusher model!
We are very excited to share the newly built 1912 Curtiss Model D Pusher (1/4 scale) that is now on display at the Curtiss Mansion! Many thanks to Miami Springs Resident, Larry Williams (pictured right), for supervising this project built by many of his students. Larry is an instructor at George T. Baker Aviation School. One of the students that worked on the model is pictured left (Felipe Hussing) along with our Executive Director, Melinda. Come see for yourself on our historic tours, every Saturday at 10am.
